Allis 5050, draining the block

Hi all, I've been reading on here for a while and just joined. Good info and good reading.

I acquired a '77 Allis Chalmers 5050 fwa with a 400 loader. Very mechanically sound, the electrical side could use some help though.
I have all the books for it.

I'm trying to do a coolant flush/switch to red ELC coolant but I can't figure out how to drain the block. Draining the radiator is easy but almost half of the coolant stays in the block when the radiator is drained. The parts book shows a drain valve for the block but doesn't show where it is. The service manual states that draining the radiator won't get it all out, my memory isn't perfect but I think the manual mentions a drain valve on the block too.

Does anyone have some pointers on this?

I posted in the "tractor and farm talk" section and it was recommended to post it over here.

This is what the parts book shows.

I drained #20 but can't find #36

it is not uncommon for block drains to be pointed out in my experience.

I don't know where Fiat located a block drain. In generating you look along the side of the block opposite the can and push rods in the area 1/3 to 2/3 of the distance down from the top of the block to the oil pan face you will find it. There is the possibility it has a plug in it, not the peacock the book shows. If in doubt which side is opposite the cam, search both sides.

Post some good pictures showing the details on both sides and maybe someone will spot it for you.
