I have a ca that when i lift anything with it the left cylender extends to far i guess and breaks off the bottom does anyone have any ideas on what is causing this? I know the cylenders are correct and i posted on the allis forum but was hoping for some other suggestions. So far i have taken the pump apart and cleaned it but i havent tried it yet.

Is the cylinder hooked to an object to lift when this happens?

I'm thinking it is binding on the pivot and causing it to break.

Straight push with no bind should never blow a cylinder unless the cylinder is rusty or faulty to begin with.

I have blown two different cyls one had a grader blade mounted and the other was just raising the levers. But now that you mention it I remember the last cylender was kind of stubborn to get on and off maybe i need to polish the pins a little more. thanks
