Allis Chalmer WD45 Radiator Replacement

I picked up my uncles WD45 tractor last year. I am trying to work on it to get it as my daily green chopper/manure spreader. One thing i have to do is replace the Radiator and Water Pump. The 45 has a 5 blade fan. When i look on Steiner Tractor Parts the only option for a radiator is ACS114. Notes in my Parts Book from Steiner state "Fits Tractors with a 4 blade fan only. Will not fit models with a 5 blade fan. Fan shroud opening is 17-1/8" on some applications. May have to trim shroud for fan clearance or order ACS183 fan (4 blade) for clearance." Should i read this as this radiator will not fit in my application or i will have to trim to fit? is there a radiator out there that i can buy that is for a 5 blade fan WD45? anyone have any advice.

Was a loader tractor so the Radiator is beyond repair.

Y-T? I do not know of them.

I was thinking the same. But didn"t know if the stand off for the 5 blade would put it too close and i would be stuck with $500 dollars worth of parts only. thought i would check with the experts first.

Y-T is the site your on and they sell tons of parts for most any brand of tractor. I don't do this often but I looked it up for you. WD45 radiator part #70228585 for $256.05 is what they have. I'm guessing you have a gas engine. there phone number is 800-853-2651

I would look to see if a 4 blade fan will swap for you. Trimming would be a bad idea because it could throw the fan slightly out of balance and cause a vibration.

I have a WD45 and was trying to remember, couldn't you take an engine from one of their combines and transplant it into the WD45 with little issue? Maybe that's why it has a 5 blade fan? Who knows, if only metal could talk.
