I’m looking for some good fuel filters to replace the one old ones. I just brought this tractor . I see there are two one on the side tof tractor and another one on top under the hood ..are they the same filter ?? Thanks

If you plan on keeping this tractor around I suggest you invest in at least the Operator's Manual and Service Manual right away.

Below is a link to the AC5050 parts book so you can find the filter parts numbers and cross them to a brand you prefer. It looks to me like they used the same element in both the primary and secondary. I didn't notice a third fuel filter. Can you post pictures of all three?

Both use the same element. Just common CAV filter bases. The NAPA 3166 has always worked for me.

i was just looking for some fast filter brands(numbers) that people were using . thanks Harry ill try the 3166. napas right down the road . the tractor only has two fuel filters as i stated in first post. .. is there a screen of some sort in the manual fuel pump that you prime with . that i need to clean also??

I can't answer your question on whether there's a screen in the lift pump. But it's fairly common. If there's a little cover you can remove, it wouldn't hurt to check it. The only downside would be getting it sealed up again.

Import Tractor Parts in Canada should have anything you need for it.
http://www.importtractorparts.net/fpparts.html <- That link should take you to the page for fuel system parts. Although shipping to the U.S from them latley has been iffy due to tariffs. I agree though,NAPA Is your best bet for filters.
