Does any one know why my mounted moldboard plow only goes two inches deep? It is not a mater of it won't it just can't. It seems that it is at the limit of its maximum depth.

If your plow share is sharp, then your depth adjustment needs to be changed. You should have an ajustment bar under your right side brake pedal. If I remember, you have to use the shortest setting. This should bring the front of your plow up.

I had that same problem for years. Mine now plows well and the reason is that it has got to be shined up. It took years for it to get that way. You"d think that if you were to just plow for a while it would but because the dirt holds onto the rusty plow it dosen"t. Best to get it shined up and paint it at every use with some cheap paint and it will plow way much better. If you want to see how mine is mounted I can send pictures if you want. Just drop me a line.
