Allis Chalmers WC PTO

I have a 40' AC WC and was baling with a NH66 baler last night, all the sudden the PTO stopped running. The tractor still moves forward, but no PTO. What should I be looking for as the problem, and what is the fix?

Can't say for sure on a WC but on a WD theres a shear bolt towards the front of the shaft and if your has that you may have sheared that bolt

This may sound dumb, but do I need to drain any fluids to check that?

The bolt he is talking about is out in the open. Attaches the shaft (or knuckle in some cases) to the drop box. If that isn't it you have internal Trans problems.
