Allis snap coupler blade

The blade sold by AC was 6' plus 18" extensions were available for each end to make it 9'. There were also some short line manufacturers that made snap coupler blades.

What Jerry says is right. Extensions were available for using the blade on wider tractors, when the blade was angled--needed the extra length to push beyond the wheel tracks. Blade fit various models, and wheel tread setting determined total tractor width, so extensions were available to compensate for that. A good shop can also fabricate them for you.

I had a 6' AC Snap Coupler Blade for my WD45 Loader Tractor and I Fabbed some wings for the end of the Blade which mounted 90' to the Blade which helped a geat lot when dragging soupy manure out of the loafing shed.
