I want to thank all the members of this forum who have given me the invaluable info that has allowed me to finish this project. The only thing left is to restore some lights I obtained on Ebay. I"m going to attempt to post a photo of the B, but if I can"t I"ll keep working on it. I"m going to take more photos and try to show some other angles at another time. Again let me reiterate THANK YOU ALL!!! Fred

Now there is a picture of one of the most popular row crop tractors in my day! I see a very fine job there Fred. The early styled (with pan seat) tractors are such a rewarding experience to restore. BTW, Delco equipment came painted high gloss black, this for guidance as you put the finishing touches on your lights! (PatB)

Thank you guys, Pat, I was surprised on how good of shape the lights were. The outside were about 3 different green paint jobs but the inside was a nice glossy black. I'm using FIT's electrolysis on them and I've ordered new reflectors. Thanks again for the input.

That is a very good looking tractor for two definate reasons....First, you have done a nice job on making it look like new or better and secondly, that particular series of B's were the best looking of all the B model tractor family. The smaller front tires (5.00-15's) on the early styled B's looked so much better than the oversized looking 5.50-16's used on the later late styled B's with the pressed steel frames ..the tractor sets nice and level and has a nice balanced design overall. Incidently, the faster road gear (6th) is nice too. Fine job...Fine tractor!
