Am I nuts ,or would you consider buying sight unseen?

A friend of mine has one of those. Not worth your time or effort because as said, there are few if any parts around for it. It's also somewhat strange in
that the tractor part is British IH and the hoe and loader are added-on American IH which gives it some idiosyncracies. The hydraulic setup, for one, can be
a head-scratcher.

Speaking as someone whose grandfather had a very old 500b
backhoe of the green flavor and much the same as others
have described when trying to order parts and the headaches
if at all possible get the Ford with a loader. He spent his whole
life trying to keep that old thing running and now whenever
there is a tile blow out my father and uncle keep bringing me
back pieces that I cant source normally. A Ford with possible
block issue and engine damage? Yes please...you will be
money ahead bringing home another motor with it

I know here in Ohio you are in legal trouble with tire piles
like that, and have to pay all costs to get site cleaned up.

Pretty remote and impoverished out here. Land is already bought anyway, no banks involved. So maybe I am nuts.
Going to pass on that old rig though. I reckon once we're out here full time and I'm working on cleaning it up, they'll come around and give me a medal or something

Some one mentioned they were asking $2800 on Tuesday the 24th.
Today, the 26th it is down to $1900

Betchya they gave $1000 or less after the estate trustee begged them to buy it in order to get it off the
property.
