I have a 1947 2N that has been converted form 6v to 12v. Everything works on this tractor. Last week while redoing my headlights and adding tail lights and a work light, it was obvious that there was a lot of wiring that wasnt the way it should have been. Basically I had to start from scratch and wire up the lights as if there had been no previous wiring. Now I think I need to do the same now that I am replacing my ammeter. I opened the battery door and looked inside. The old ammeter has no wiring connected to it at all. So with no wiring, where do I start? The push button starter is disconnected and the iginition switch is not stock either. Basically, the ignition switch operates like one in a car. I have copied several diagrams I found on line, But I am not sure which one to use. I have a 12v conversion diagram available. Since I am starting from scratch, I need to be sure I do it properly.
