Ampli-Torque

Is it the high side or low that is weak???? Usually it is the low side, You have to split to repair. Manny times you can prolong the life by not putting in low side on the move. De-clutch the tractor and let the clutch out easy and it should catch and most times you can run all day. If it is the high side don't use or you will warp the plates. That can be adjusted easy from the outside. See your operators manual for procedure.

Thanx for the replies! I am just trying to sort out what buying a MM with Ampli-Torque means at this point. Lots of 705’s out there for sale but Im a little nervous about the potential AT issues. Would love to find a nice original LP G-VI. Did all 705’s come standard with AT or was it an option?
