Just bought an AMT 600. Ive been having problems getting it
started. The starter motor works great but it seems like the fly
wheel isnt catching bc the engine isnt turning. I pull the choke out
and floor it and it just never turns. The fuel filter has been changed
and it used to start up without issues. I just treated the fuel with a
cleaner. Any troubleshooting or ideas would be greatly
appreciated.

If you hear the starter motor turning, but you do not see the engine turning, you need to begin by removing the starter and checking it and the ring gear. Some possibilities are the starter drive could be bad, there could be a problem with the solenoid linkage moving the drive, the flywheel ring gear could have a bad spot, or there could be an issue with the flywheel to crank connection.

Pulling the choke, changing the fuel filter, and treating the fuel have nothing to do with whether or not the engine turns when you engage the starter.

Yeah, so if the engine isnt turning that means no exhaust would be
coming out. A little exhaust does come out so Im mistaken with
how I have explained this problem. I think the engine is turning by
as soon as I stop cranking the key it stops. The motor doesnt keep
going.

I decided to reword this problem in another post. I know that might be a bit. Frustrating but I think this post will lead people a stray.

The engine not starting, or running, is not the same as the engine is not turning. Posting with the correct info/terminology will be less frustrating and might get you the correct suggestions for repair.
