An Interesting Ford

This sweet little Ford belongs to Jerry Davis and it's sitting in the showroom at Davis Implement in Perryville, Missouri. I think that Jerry said that he found it in Union County, Illinois, but I might have his stories mixed up. He told me a lot of stories that day and my hearing is not as good as I wish it was.

S/N 501 was once owned by Glenn Schemoine of Pamona, IL up until about 2017
Looks like a nice new home only an hour away.

They were originally painted from the factory.

It's really a Ferguson not a Ford.

It is a FORD the 1939s had a cast aluminum grill that was horizontal , not vertical . As above due to stamping dies not finished for the hood, the first 500 or so were made with a cast hood and grill. I am not sure about the grill, however the hoods were painted. It takes a lot of work to shine one hood up.
