does anyone put anhydros and 28 % on corn.would 32% when planted at 11 gal. per acre and 40 gallons of 28% BE ENOUGH RATHER 110 IBS. OF ANHYDROS AMM.

By my calculations the gas gives you around 108 units of N. 11 gals of 32 is 38.9 units and 40 gls of 28 is 117.6. Most around here pre with chem either the whole 120 units or at least 40 then side dress the rest. (liquid)

I often put down a very low raite with the granular starter 2 inches to the side, and either before planting or as sidedress put down 120 as anhydrous. (Depends on weather.)

This year I had mostly 140 units of urea put down broadcast, and will sidedress other areas with anhydrous. Trying to ramp things up a little.

Heavy clay soils do fine with all of it before planting as the damp clay and organic bits hold the N pretty well; some lighter, low organic, sandy soils do much better with split applications.

Nothing wrong with your plan, can be made better or worse depending on your soil types & water levels to really fine tune it for your location.
