Another 3-point jack question

There have been a few questions lately about the 3-point jack
that lets the tractor lift itself. Here"s another one. I saw one at a
tractor swap meet today -- clean except the 3-point pipe on it
is pretty pitted from sitting for years in dirt; also missing the
Dearborn tag. But overall straight and with little rust except as
noted above. The guy said he didn"t know what to ask for it, and
I sure as heck don"t know. Has anyone bought/sold/seen one
sell lately to offer advice about price? I saw one other one there,
missing the chains and front attachment piece and with one of
the axle "cradles" half missing; he wanted $40 and said if it was
complete and clean it would be $150. So... what"s a reasonable
price? Thanks.

40 bucks is a steal....i made one...it took a little while to get the numbers right and I had to rework it a bit. Even if you have to fix this one, 40 is a steal just for the metal. Once you use it, you'll wish you always had one.

I havent seen dearborn, only "ferguson'. All same. Front is like a "D" but sideways, with a "Dogchain" to attach to 1/4 pin on 2 point peice.
The "D on front is longer than demension from under front axle support, so when the tractor "Rocks forward" it lifts the front end/
Cheap to fabricate and repair as its all "Pipe and welding"
