Another "8n w/no spark" post

Been awhile since last post, been busy, & n running good....until now.

Didn't use it much during winter until Friday. Ran ~1hr+ then quit. Getting gas, no spark. Tinkered with it, finally changed points & in doing so, dropped nut in distributor body. Pulled & replacef distributor, retimed engine @ 4 BTD, still no spark. Distributor cap good, ~ 2 - 3 yrs old, (still shiny), wires ~ same age. Any suggestions?

Did notice 1 thing, there's ~ 5 - 10 K reading from distributor plate to gnd, 0 body to gnd, plate is attached to body, don't understand.

o, if your measurements are good, you have found your problem.. Fix it.
