My dozer 'over heats' after about two hours of running time. I checked the radiator and the level was down to the top of the cores. I don't see any visible water leaks in the radiator, hoses etc. Any ideas? Thanks again.

take a water hose & blast out the fins on the outside of the radiator. Check fan for missing or cracked blade. Check fan shroud for missing chunks.

That might do it. Prolly not serious or would heat up a lot faster than that. Check motor oil & see if any anti-freeze in it. Keep the fluid level up full in case something suddenly gets worse. Don't know why it would heat up slowly. Maybe someone put the fan on backward.

Not familiar with the Mitsy crawler but does it have a powershift transmission and torque convertor? If so monitor your trans/torque temp. I am used to Internationals and we found that a failing torque will flood and overheat causing heat transfer to the motor. Usually took a couple hours to overheat.
Good luck Don

Yes....it does have the power shift with a torque converter. What should I look for? What does a repair entail?
