Another JD LA question. Engine block.

I have an early LA I'm getting ready to restore mechanically. It's the 23rd built and needs and engine overhaul. My question is I'm not sure if I have the right block or not. Most everyone I see has the freeze plug on left side of block. Mine does not. Parts book only shows one block for all serial numbers. Could this be a block from and L or LUC. Where can I find a casting number. Here is a pic if it will load. The first is mine and the 2nd is one I found a pic of. Thanks.

I do not know for sure ? I have a few LA's and LUC'S and they all have that big freeze plug.
Wonder if it is an L engine ? Bore size may tell the tale ?

Engine casting number is behind your bottom radiator hose. I believe I have the correct LA engine and not a LU or LUC. I have the freeze plug on the mag side.

Just checked and mine is L4210T. Guess I learned something new today. What is a good source for pistons?
