I picked up a 9N from my best friend. Here is a pic of it "as arrived":

After "a bit of work", here it is now:

New rear wheels (baaadly rusted from ballast use, new front (8N style) wheels and tires (thanks John), 12 volt conversion, axle seals and brake cleanup... you know - the usual, she is just about done. Waiting on a new carb since the flange is busted and it floods bad anyway. She'll be put "to work" a bit mowing and disking some, and not a garage queen. Why do people paint the early ones like an 8N? I like 'em better grey. What'd ya think?

Pretty happy, so far.

Since this will be a working tractor and sitting out (under a tarp or other minimal shelter), I didn't feel a "restoration" was in order. I used Valspar MF grey from TSC and painted the hood and fenders witha small roller and the rest with a brush. I'm curious myself to see how long it lasts. The color is darker than the pics look. More like the grey spot under it, where I spilled a half quart of paint... It turned out pretty good, I think.
