Another Tool

I had this for quite a few years before I even found out what it is.
I bet there are some professional types here who can name it right off the bat.

I'm not sure how big it really is but I have a tool like it to remove battery terminals from a battery.

Dave has it right.....
Used mostly by airplane builders and auto body men.
Used to hold panels together for riveting or welding.
Here is a picture with clamp style fastener.
I don't have any of the more common fasteners which are used by drilling a hole thru the two pieces of metal being joined.

Detaildave is right. They are Cleco pliers. I used them when working for a major aircraft manufacturer. Mainly used during airframe and skin
assembly.

Here?s a picture of Cleco faseners that I have. The different colors represent the size. I don?t remember the exact sizes but i believe they are
3/16? -1/8?. Note the two drill gauges held together by the 3/16? Cleco.

Thank you so much for posting this picture. My brother in law died awhile back and I was helping my sister organize his stuff. Came across a box of what
I now know to be Cleco fasteners. I had no idea what the things were until today.
