another transmission question

Weaser's post yesterday got me to thinking. He wants to convert his 1650 to a high speed. My 1550 is a high speed RC, -502 on the serial number. The parts book shows two pairs of gears for the low speed utility but make no note of any difference between the high speed or regular row crop. The pattern has the low range gears at the top for the high speed and the bottom for the regular. So my question: is it only a matter of reversing the range gears to change from a regular to high speed? Not that I want to do it, just curious.

I'm attaching the pages from my parts book, at least I'm going to attempt to attach them, so you can see what I'm looking at. The gears are the ones that have an option for the row crop tractor with the high speed transmission. I do have a high speed 1650 and the shift pattern is different than the standard speed 1650.This is why I'm not sure if the gears are an option, does that mean any and all options are needed to make the change from standard to high speed or not.

Thanks for the reply but the 1550 uses a spur gear transmission. Same main case as the 1650 but the internals are completely different. No shift collars or lube pump and filter.
