Another update

After taking the top cover off the Jubilee again I found the safety relief valve finger loose - somehow over the years it had backed out making it leak. I tightened it up, reinstalled and no leak, however.... the hydraulic oil is foamy. The IT manual says it may be due to the back pressure tube located to close to the pump suction tube opening. Originally, the back pressure tube appeared to be right over/in the hole at the bottom of the housing so I just put it back over the hole again. Is this an incorrect spot for the tube? Is the hole where the pump sucks hydraulic fluid from? I'm getting closer to fixing this thing! Thanks again.

That is original location. Submerged in suction cavatiy. The hundred series also dumped in to intake also. Donot whitch pump, vane or piston. Could be sucking air thru shaft seal. Some hyd oil foams easier than others too.

Good to know that's right at least. The 3 point will not lift at all when level, not even the arms with nothing on. If I park downhill the arms raise and lower. Hopefully a priming/air issue. Thanks Shaun.

I think you will find that the back pressure valve dump should be be to the left rear of the reservoir with a bracket mounting over the protruding long stud supporting the right hand inspection cover of the center housing

(quoted from post at 22:54:03 06/07/21) I have seen them all over the place in there, even cutoff at bend at upper end.
have no doubts about that, given an age of ~70 years & who knows how many hands, but I was trying to show how it should be. One way the tube gets bent all out of shape is the missing clamp on round side cover stud. Then as sleeve is tightened to push valve against cylinder assy, the valve/tube is twisted. Clamp is visible here.
