Edit to add picture of a kit on eBay. The similar tool is blue in this picture.

have seen something similar for pulling lamp bulbs on a switchboard. But the fingers are too curved for a lamp puller.

Mom would clean my finger nails on the way to church with dad's pocket knife.
I used other have a "dirty mind" before I was "brain washed". LOL
