Put the short piece of hose on the pressure washer last fall, it stays on the washer.
So much simpler to hook up. Easy to add antifreeze going into winter.
Since you're not tilting to get to the hose fitting, oil in the engine stays where it belongs.
Was using it yesterday, and thought I can't be the only one that never thought of doing this.

Good idea!
I just hit a hose with the brushhog. I saved the pieces - now I know why!
 
One pressure washer has the hose connection along a frame, so as it is great difficulty to tighten up the connection. Hand can’t fit in properly to grip.

Duh.

Even a short hose strain relief piece would make it easy.
