antique a/c pedal tractor

My neighbor wants me to restore his antique A/C pedal tractor that he had when he was a kid. I have quite a few of pedal tractors in my life as I collected alot of toys and farm equipment. But this one has me a little puzzled it all original.
It has a tricycle front end on it and it has spark plug wires and a distributor cap on the left side. I have never seen this before. Has anyone ever seen one of these before? It is in very good shape except for paint which in now red and I assume I need to pain it A/C orange.It needs one rubber pedal and the steering seems to be ok. Any ideas of the value for insurance purposes after restored? Does anyone have picture of one to send to me for me to look at for restoration purposes?

Marco, it sounds like this one is not original if it has red paint. How do you know that it is Allis Chalmers?

Not speaking specifically about Allis, I've seen pedal tractors for sale at swap meets for $150 to $300. I've seen them sell on Ebay for up to $500. That said, I can't recall any ever having been Allis Chalmers - decals and all. This one sounds much more detailed that the $150 tractors that are really generic with Farmall or John Deere paint on them. Your tractor may be worth as much as $1000 if it is really Allis.

Sometimes, restored pedal tractors bring less money than good originals. But in your case, a red Allis is not an original.

I do not believe it is a Allis. Is the body tin or cast?? That will give us more info to identify what you have. I am 98 percent sure you do not have a Allis.
