antique case combines

My father in law recently bought property with these combines. They’re both Case. One is a 150 combine, and one is an older model pull type combine. We’re not sure about the years, but we think they’re from 1930s or 1940s. Any idea of what they’re worth?

best value is to part them out then scrap what is left. certainly can advertise them as complete units and see who might be interested first since parting out takes alot of time and effort to do.

where are they located? that may help determine how easily they may be to sell.

No doubt there is someone who is poring through everything that he can find looking for restorable old combines. The trick is to find the site or publications where he is looking and put an ad in front of him.

I agree the pull one is an early A6, they might have some parts value and some of the parts cut out might have decorative value, but mostly scrap value, would be worth some effort to re-home though.

Scrap. There's fantasy and there's reality. Some folks will beg you to save them and sell them to a collector. Collectors will tell you that they wish they had them at home, but the probability that a collector would come and get them even if you gave them to them free is 0%.
