Am looking for leads or recommendations on a quality Restoration man in Washington (preferred) or Oregon for my '41 JD B.
Appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks, Fr. Bob

Contact the local antique tractor clubs in your area and ask this question. Define quality restoration, restoration means many things to many people. If you do find someone get references. You might start by searching adds in Green Magazine.

Years ago an older guy stopped me and at our local antique tractor show and asked who painted my tractor. I told him I painted it, then he immediately ask how much would it cost to have you paint mine. I quickly told him I don't paint for others (period). Just the fact he was concerned about cost was a non-starter.

Be aware having someone else restore your tractor is going to cost you MUCH more than the tractor will be worth if it is done right.

My advice is to buy one already fixed up like you want.
