Any vets here

My father served in the marines and navy WW2 I had health problems didn't serve, thanks to all of you who served and all those who paid the price for our freedom

I was in the Wisconsin National Guards " The Red Arrow Division" from Nov 65 to Nov 71. We were called out multiple times for rioting at the state capital in Madison Wi. I am not considered a Veteran because I was not in active-duty for 160 consectably days. I was in 6 month active-duty for basic-training and AIT. The Army let me out 3 weeks early, now I know why. Their way of screwing you over in the future. I have DD 214 and get military discounts from different building centers.
If I had to do it over again, I would of just let the draft system take me for the two years and get it over. No, I don't feel that I should get the same VA benefits that the full time guys & girls do get.

U.S Army 1997-1998, blew my knee out and got discharged! Thank you to all the rest who have served and on a personal note, prayers to CW2 Horness, god speed home my brother!

A Co. 1/7 Cavalry, 1st. Cavalry Division, Mortar Infantry Feb. 68-Feb.69; Served Sept. 67-Sept. 69.
