That you cant seem to find time to finish ? Started on a little refurbish project on the 4020 in March now its soon to be may but were getting a little closer . Didnt have time to reseal the brake valve or the hydraulic couplers thatll have to wait until next winter now

I bought a 95 GMC 1 ton dually with a bad 5 speed. I'm changing all the u joints, the clutch and pressure plate, resurface the flywheel.. Pilot bearing was missing all the needles so the transmission mainshaft was bad, along with fourth gear. Figured I'd replace the starter since I was crawling around underneath. Went to put the top cover on the trans today and discovered I have the wrong pads for the reverse fork. Ordered the right ones. Maybe two more weeks of this?

Because you didn't get around to too much for too long? Yeah, I'm guilty too.

Been working on my Ford 851d for a while. Went to change the fuel filter and the cut off valve on the tank was shot & the standpipe was broken. Pulled the sheet metal to change the valve and brushed against the radiator so it starts leaking. It already had ten pounds of solder holding it together. Put in the new valve, made a standpipe, and ordered a radiator.

Hmmn, good time to get the pump rebuilt so I box it up and send it to Rich. Hmmn, everything is off so it's a good time to rebushing the front axle. Tear it apart and find the support is cracked and the pin threads are shot. Found one & got that all rebuilt. Hmmn, good time to get around to the breather which is shot and nla. So now I'm in the process of fabricating a dry breather with absolutely no sheet metal fabricating experience so it's interesting to say the least. Pump is back so it can go on after I get the breather built.

Then there's the hydraulic pump rebuild and top cover kit that may or may not get installed. Those parts have been on the shelf for ten years now. Too many hmmn,s Lol

Im working on a 53 MM UB that Ive had for 15 years or so. Fooled around with it for a long time and finally got serious about it last year to the tune of about 2500 dollars in the engine alone. Finally built a fire in it last night which didnt go like I wanted it to cause it didnt hit on the first lick like the ones Ive done before did. When it did start it was somewhere around 2500 rpm which is not good on a new engine. Checked the throttle linkage 5 times before the starter ever got hooked up so I dont know what happened but I will find out today hopefully. My granddaddy used to farm with this tractor so I want it to be right. Still so much to do. Good thing I like working on them.

This ones been wait a couple years while gathering parts to repair some fire damage
Plan is to get in in the shop this year providing none of the others break down

Are you kidding? I have a barn full. A super w6 in a million pieces for restoration that I started on in the 90's sometime. A case VAC that I was throwing a paint job on for my BIL 20 yrs ago that turned into a resto with the chassis in primer. Plus several more untouched and now my new to me 62 Scout to restore....oncwe I get my shop insulated and set up and heated....and on and on and on wink wink

Thatll be a nice tractor when you finish . This 4020 was my grandpas I went through it in 2001 put about 14,000.00 into it and repainted it . It needs repainted again once I get all the leaks fixed

I hate that . Went out to look at my plow tonight and found out I had gotten the wrong shank they sent a right hand and I need a left

Well I'm about 11 years and counting on my 2606. Guarantee it will be done this summer.
