Anyone know about AGKITS?

Tried to get some corn off yesterday before the rain today, with the 4420 JD combine, didn't go as planned. Only made it maybe 100 yards before major breakdown. Broke a main separator drive shaft. according to the online parts breakdown it is called separator jackshaft. Any how, got a hold of the dealer for parts (after looking online so I could give part numbers, better success that way) and parts are obsolete, NA. Did some searching online and the AGKITS website came up saying they have it. Was wondering if anyone has ever dealt with them or heard of them. They supposedly, according to website, deal in heavy equipment, truck, ag parts. Thanks, Paul

Part number I'm looking for is #H77265

I bought several front-end components and an in-frame rebuild kit from them a couple of years ago for a Case 530. The quality of the parts I got was fine. Service was atrocious. One tie-rod was missing, one of the ball-joints was wrong (I ordered two different parts: one LH and one RH. They sent two LH's). And they charged far more than they should have. They blamed it on the exchange rates (I'm in Canada), but that didn't make sense: I can't remember the exact numbers, but exchange rate at the time was something like 1.35:1. The amount they charged my credit card worked out to something crazy like 2.2:1. And when shipping it then they tagged it under the wrong duty code so the shipping company charged me almost as much in duty charges as the parts cost. The snarky goofwit ('Chris' - I still remember that dingbat's name) I talked to on the phone acknowledged the mistakes and said he'd look into it. But never did. After many, many calls & e-mails I gave up.

Thanks Daniel, the whole listing for the part I'm looking for seemed a bit sketchy to me. They use the part number but have a slightly different name for it and no mention of where they're located. Was the only online listing for the part that said they actually have it.

While I'll never personally order from them again based on my experience, if you're in a bind for that part and no one else lists it, you could always call/e-mail them and see if they can confirm stock and send you a picture of the part. Because you're already in the US, you wouldn't have to deal with any of the shipping/duty issues I did. And because it's only one part, they'd have to be trying really, really hard to screw quantities up.

If I do order from them that is exactly what I was planning on doing. Just have the feeling that it won't be the right part. May come down to fixing the broken shaft. I had worked on this shaft 4 or 5 years ago - a bearing spun on the shaft and cut a serious groove in it that I ended up repairing at the time. Of course this time it broke clean off near the earlier repair. Paul

It's been a while- so take this with a grain of salt. Syracuse Crank used to be the engine machine shop of choice here in central NY. Still shows up on a google search. Last time I was there several years ago the owner was the only one who went back into the dark and dusty shop. He did some machine work for me. Behind him, behind the counter was a room full of several guys manning phones. I think they're a middleman business sourcing parts from wherever and whoever will drop ship them.
There are enough real farm equipment places around the country who stock new and used parts, that I think are a better bet. My first call for a major combine part is Spallingers of Ohio. There is also a nearby place which specializes in JD combines. K&J Surplus.

Just did a quick Google search while lunch is warming up and found this place, did a quick map search of the address and it has a bunch of green tractors and equipment around it. Seems legit.

Closest I could find on asap was part number h77765, a belt. He needs h77265, jackshaft. They might have it. I only searched for 2 seconds waiting on lunch to heat up.
Went back and checked again. They are using 077265 instead of H77265 as the part #. Although they have that listed as a shaft it does not call it a jackshaft. So possibly not what he needs.

I purchased a set of trunion balls for the blade arms on my D6C last year from them, Cat wanted $710.00 each, picked up at the dealer. AGKITS sold them to me for $606.00 for the pair if memory serves me...delivered to my door via Fedex, they weighed about 80lbs. each! The only dealings I've had with them but they did what the said they'd do.

A friend has a 4420 that something is wrong with transmission. Has been sitting several years. Would make a parts machine, I think he had a 213

Thanks, don't remember that one coming up when I searched earlier. Will look into it. By the way that's the same price JD had on their website.

Looked them up. Appears to be a John Deere dealer, will have to give them a call in morning to verify they have part. Thanks
