Anyone know what this is for.

I have this metal plate with rails bolted to the fender of my international 424. I have no idea what goes on it because it came on the tractor when we bought it second hand. There is lime green paint on the bottom but there’s no branding on it. Wondering if anyone knows what it is.

Maybe a radio mount? two way communication or just a music radio?
Looks like it was made so that what it help was retained by that ball-stud and a rubber socket on the object.
So it could easily be removed for dry storage?

Color underneath reminds me of Terex heavy equipment.

This may be a dumb question but the view showing the lime green color is the back side of the unit removed from the fender? I am just questioning because it looks like something slides down under the lips on the part on the fender and to me it looks like the lime green part may fit there and you just neglected to tell us that. The ball on the bottom definitely suggests it is part of a latch or locking mechanism.

The green part is the back of the part bolted to the fender. It is the same part👍

I think radio is a good guess

Looks like the tool box holder to me. I have one on a cockshutt and has the same lime green on the back

Do you suppose someone slipped a seat on there for tractor rides.

My neighbor had some thing very similar to this and it held his hydraulic lever (valves) for his loader. The loader was a quick attach so once it was off the valve set-up stayed with the loader.
I’m liking this idea but I have no idea if the tractor had a front loader because it doesn’t have power steering 🤷‍♂️ maybe other piece of equipment

Power steering has been mandatory for a loader tractor for only the last 25 years.

It is a mount for a slow moving vehicle triangle. They had a piece you fastened on the SMV. It would slide into the mount you have in photo. It made for quick easy removal of the SMV when you wanted it off and out of the way.
