he equipment is $500 "Your Starlink Kit includes everything you need to connect to the internet including your Starlink, wifi router, power supply, cables and mounting tripod" There are no data caps, dl speed between 50 mbps and 150 mbps, and latency 20-40 ms. The monthly cost is $99. You can go to https://www.starlink.com/ and check availability.

I have signed up, and paid the $99.00 to "save my spot". Three to six months for equipment to arrive. I am at the southern edge of service, at this time - 37.9 degrees N latitude. Can't wait. My current internet is via cell service at 500Kb/s. Verizon. zuhnc

I don't have it yet but am contemplating it. I do have several friends who have it. We are in Northwestern Ontario in Canada and have very poor internet speeds in rural areas.

Starlink is still in beta testing but reliability is increasing as satellites are launched. My friends can confirm fairly consistent download speeds of approximately 150 mbs. There are very brief moments of disconnect now which are barely noticeable: these are said to be part of the engineers tinkering with the system during testing. Each of my three friends are very happy they got it.

I dont have it yet but have certainly been thinking about it. My current internet service sucks! I too wanted to hear some feedback from those who are using it.

I am at 42+N and they wouldn't let me sign up yesterday when I wanted to explore their offer. Ditto, my service is not satisfactory currently. Leo

It's supposed to be available here mid
to late summer. I signed up and paid the
deposit. It's too expensive but there
aren't any other decent options in our
area. I have to use a $500 booster just
for my cell phone. Internet is dsl lite
which isn't much better than dial up. My
wife's laptop with windows 10 won't even
work here.
