Can any of you tell me what happened to the apples on my tree? A couple of days ago it had alot of apples on it, went out today and their all gone. Not one apple left on tree or ground. I know deer eat the lower ones but 20' in the air? Any ideas? Thanks big

Any wind lately?? A year ago, we lost peaches by the bushel, just before they ripened. Deer, possum & coon will all clean them up the ground if the Fruit is close to being ripe.

We still got enogh off the trees for canning and freesing though.......

Nope no wind, I'm baffled! there's not a trace of a apple even on the highest branches. And I know my neighbors didn't do it because there's only 3 other houses on the hill and we're all like family. The trees have a disease called CAR (cedar apple rust) on them this year and maybe it caused the apples to fall off and feed the deer and coons. The only other cause is aliens or big foot LOL.

talking to a neighbor just this morning , and he said his boys did the same thing.just shriveled up and fell off.he thought it was from the drought.

Friend had two big coons move in and in three days took out 7 chickens and striped a peach tree of all fruit. I would have never thought they could eat so much, but they did. Peach tree litteraly happened over night like you describe. Then they hit the chickens. 3 one night, 4 the next.
