Attaching a backhoe/loader

Tractor: International 2404
Backhoe: International 3120

Hey there! I recently got my very first tractor. An old fixer-upper with a front loader and a 3120 backhoe. I've asked a few questions on this forum before and was very pleasantly surprised by the level of helpfulness so I figure this is the best place for a fairly general question.

The loader works well, but The backhoe doesn't have any hydraulic lines running into it. I see a hose that could be attached from the main hydraulic pump of the tractor (Left side behind the seat) and I also see some hydraulic lines that seem to go from the control valve of the front loader back towards the backhoe but are capped. I believe the front loader has a small hydraulic pump in the front. I could feasibly see either of these connections going into the backhoe but I wasn't sure. Anybody have general knowledge of backhoe hydraulic hookups that could point me in the right direction? Maybe it's both connections? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have a 3120 setting on the shelf only recall input/ return hose
dont spend a lot until you know hoe works,swivel splines get worn and leak that is why most parked
hopefully it is good and you can do lite work (no rock or super hard pulls)also dont push engine hard keep good oil in it "quality" parts are hard to locate

use the lines from the loader control valve. my 340 international backhoe/loader is that way. I have a knob to pull that sends the oil to the back hoe or bucket depending on which I need. the 340 is ver similar to yours. just curious as why there is no hoses going to it. if you have a pto then the back hoe has probably been added. just want to be awful careful as to stop the flow of oil from the hyd pump when running. might cause a lot of damage.
