Ok….seems I didn’t get away free and clear regarding the inability to attach photos successfully. I’ve read all of the related postings on site comments but I still don’t quite understand how to fix the issue. Confusing to me still. I use an Apple iPad 8th generation, Version 26.2.1. Maybe 2-3 years old ( I think ). I’ve never experienced this before. I’m able to touch the attach button on the YT new message text template, chose photo library, can see the pic I’d like to attach but have zero prompt to actually attach the pic. I am able to “check” the pic but don’t have any means to actually transfer the pic onto the YT new message template. If directed I can send this anomaly to the site comments forum but my guess is that I most likey won’t understand the tech talk explanation. Be easy on me because I suffer from cognitive issues from 26 years of chemo and radiation treatments. But I’m still in remission from my April 25’ T cell transplant. Thanks in advance. Wingnut

After you check the picture in the upper right it should say “Add” you click that and it should complete the upload process. I think this may have confused you thinking that was for “adding” more photos, it is not. You check more than one photo if your intention is to post more than one photo. I’m not sure how many photos it will allow you to post at once.

UR mn. I think my big issue here is I no longer have the ADD prompt button. When I touch attach it will prompt me from library, Live Photo etc. I touch library and can see about 6or 8 of the last pics I took but am able to to scroll the entire library if needed. I check the pic but there is no add button. Trying to figure how to get it back. Keith

Are you using the Apple Safari browser? Have you closed and reopened it? Shut down and restarted it the iPad?
There are settings that can limit Safari’s access to your photo library but I wouldn’t think they would get changed unless it was intentional. I would have to believe if it was a setting the photos wouldn’t even show up to be selected.

Humm, I no longer have the size or add button when I add a PDF, only the trash can. When post a picture i see the insert button, which is the add button BTW.

Are you using an iPad? I am giving info as it showing on my iPhone 11. Also my software hasn’t been updated for a while so that might be a couple of reasons my tech support might not be apples to apples.

Windows desktop. The YT software should appear the same regardless of OS.

@wingnuttx On my old iPhone with the newest OS when the site attach button puts you in Photos there is a blue circle with a check mark in it in the upper right corner. When I hit the blue circle the picture that is checked uploads. There is no button that says anything. There used to be.

I would say that does not prove out. Although the functions are somewhat the same the browser and the operating system change the appearance and the exact commands. I have a laptop with Windows 7 and I am using the Firefox browser. When I access the picture folder and select a photo it say “Open” not Insert or Add. The window that opens to show the folder with the pictures in it has the Firefox logo in the upper left. I am no expert but I would say the YT forum software has a portal or connection available for an upload but the members method of access laptop, tablet or phone etc. and the browser are responsible to connect to it. So appearances of that are different. If I am wrong hopefully someone can chime in and correct me.

On his iPad if he chooses Photos it puts him into his Photos app

So the OS over-rides the YT software, got it. Thanks for the correction. I described how my desktop running W10 in FF browser does for me in reply #5.
