I have a "51 Ford 8n with a front bucket and would like to know what type of auger I need to buy to dig some post holes for fencing.

Depending on how many holes you need to drill, you might price a post hole digger from your local tool rental/contractor supply rental place, you may find you would be money ahead renting a nice two man auger or counter-weight trailer mount version for a lot less then buying one out right. Plus the tractor mount kind are a pain to mount and store IMHO (I know I trip over one around here all the time).
