Auto trans fluid replacing Type A atf as Hyd fluid

Doing some research I came across this, wonder if any body has ever used it

50% Dextron III compatible atf
50% Type f atf
Mix the two together and you have a atf Druid that closely resembles the Type A atf that was originally called for in your Hyd System.
Anybody ever used this.
in the Jet Star 1964 hydraulic system??

I run Dextron III in all my MMs. I am aware that some people with other make tractors use whatever the other tractors run so they can swap implements and never heard of a problem with the fluid.

The main difference in the types of ATF fluid is the additives that are added to provide the clutch friction characteristics that the transmission manufacturers want. ATF is generally a 20 WT fluid, similar to the UTF of old. Today’s Hytran and Hygard are 10w30 equivalents since the advent of CVT tractor transmissions.

Considering your tractor hydraulic systems have neither clutches or brakes in them, any oil about 20WT will work just fine.
