Auxiliary hydraulic pump?

I have noticed that some older Masseys have hydraulic lines coming out of the PTO selector lever plate. I believe these run the remote lines at the rear of the tractor. If that is indeed the case is there an auxiliary pump dedicated to feeding these lines? If so, what is the GPM output? Wondering if this setup is better suited to run a FEL than the primary pump or am I just smoking crack?
Thanks,
Danny

I have a 245 (without the Multipower) with the auxiliary pump, external filter, and two sets of remotes. From what I understand it was an option and the pump is about 10 gpm.

I suspected that. That would run a FEL, or anything else, much faster than the solo pump.
I wonder if one could add an auxiliary pump to a tractor not so equipped from the factory?

Here's one I bought for my 150. The
pump spline is wrong. Been many years
ago and don't remember just what it
came out of.

Have you considered mounting that auxiliary pump on the main pump in your tractor, or finding a pto coupler that matches those splines?

No I haven't. This is something that I just wanted to learn more about. I may even trade my MF50 for one that is already equipped with the aux pump. Not in a big hurry to do anything just exploring my options.

I tried to source this gear in 11 spline but couldn't. I was also considering pulling my shaft and installing it in this pump but needed the gear.

There are two pumps in the Aux. One for MP and IPTO and the other for Aux to tractor. 2 gal and 10 gal PM.

This was in 2007 but my 150 does what I need it to do with diverter and directional valves.

They switched from the early 10 spline to the 21 spline lift pump around 1973 or so.
