The original subject was "AWD7 Pic".

As a new AWD7 owner I'm having difficulties starting it. Apparently this is nothing unusual.
The glowplugs are fine, starter is fine, battery (700cca) charged and assisted by a 1200 amp battery pack.Injection timing is set at 0 as per the manual and the type of injectors.
I've changed fuel filter, bled the fuel filter, bled the water trap and used the hand primer (squirts air/fuel out plunger when pumped but won't pump up hard).
Occasionally it will start but only for about 5 seconds (+-). Lots of white smoke when cranked. It will tow start easily (so it's got compression) and runs well though it "hunts" abit. I've tightened all fittings and there is diesel in the tank.
My glow plug indicator is broken so a screw driver shorted across the terminals gets power to the glowplugs. Any one know where I can get another indicator element??
What is the cold cranking amps of the batteries you fellas are successful with???
It shows all indications of lacking fuel. Is the hand priming pump working as it should??? If I crack the injector line and crank the motor it will seep fuel from the pipe......there is definitely not jet of fuel squirting out.
Who can help me get this thing starting in a reliable/normal way. I'm sure I'll have more time for it then. Besides I've got work for it to do.
