Hello again guys when reinstalling brakes and ax
el on a 2n should I be using permatex on shims ? there is one shim between drum and brake and one shim between axel and housing. thanks again for everyone help Mike

I would use Permatex (no RTV) on any metal to metal connection and even some that have gaskets.

me and a buddy used brush on copper coat when we did sure seals in his 2n.. seemed to work fine.
