I have a 1960 B-61 Mack truck that has the air power steering. It is like the one's that I see on all the Macks. It does not work.It has air going to it but it is obvious it does not work when you turn the wheel.I don't here air coming from the main cylinder when you change direction with the steering wheel. The air goes from the source to some type of unit on the fire wall and then on down to the unit that is attached to the steering box and then onto the main cylinder attached to the drag link.Could there be a problem with the unit that is attached to the firewall? Is that somekind of check valve or pressure reducer or what? Who is the maker of these units and how do you get in touch with them.I know nothing about these.Your help is greatly appreciated and needed.THANKS STEVE.
