ok got it running but the clutch has little travel IE all the way in or pressed all forward clutch is free and if i let up the least bit it grads full there is a lot of free play onthe pedal it self any ideas on adjustments
i see someone else asking about clutch adjustments we may have same trouble????

BUZZ, YOU CAN GO THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BELL HOUSING AND ADJUST THE FINGERS ON THE PREASURE PLATE. YOU WILL NEED TO ADJUST THEM OUT TO GET MORE THROW ON THE PEDAL. ALSO IF YOU TAKE THE ROD AND SPRING OFF THE PEDAL, AND TURN IT COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, (IT IS THREADED INTO THE BEARING RETAINER), YOU CAN GAIN A LITTLE THROW THERE. BUT DONT TURN MORE THAN A TURN OR TWO AS THERE IS ONLY ABOUT 3/4 INCH OF THREADS.

There should be a quarter inch of clearance between each clutch finger and the throw out bearing. Use a quarter inch rod slightly bent to fit between the fingers and throw out bearing to adjust to the right clearance.
