I am trying to see if there is any ground speed difference between a unstyled b and a 1941 to 1947 b in 1st and 2nd gear. I checked tractor data but it shows for the unstyled and the late styled with a creeper 1st gear.

The Nebraska Test report for the 1941 6-speed B shows first at 2-1/3 and second at 3-1/4 mph which is very similar as the older unstyled 4-speed. On TractorData you can select which of the three versions you want and pull up the report for that vintage.

O. K. My dad & his two brothers had a 36,37 & 38 B. The 38 would pull more namely a disk that the other2 would not pull in second. I read once and I think it was in Two Cylinder that later 38 B tractors had a slower second gear than the model B tractors built before that.
