B or c loader fabrication

Anybody fab a loader or snow pusher for a Farmall b or c? I’m thinking more of a snow pusher and would like to know if anybody has built one and has plans. Thanks for any help.

I've never built one but a while back and I still kick my self for not bidding I could have gotten a loader made for the Cub. It sold for all of $7

Common two pipes from the axle crossing in front of the narrow front bolster. The design needs a front cross member that triangulates the pipes to limit side to side flexing. Lifting with a cable and pulleys from the hydratouch levers (both sides) equipping it with a commercial pickup plow would do. Tire chains are needed and rear weight. Jim

This one is factory IH with out the proper lift linkage.

That one is like the one i built for my B OVER 40YRS AGO I used 1/2x4 steel from the front pedestal to the bell housing to keep the tractor from breaking. I use the Char-Lynn power pac for the hy system. Chains for the rear and look out snow here we come

Sounds nice Gene, i put side channels from a H on mine, for added strength for the block,i attached it to a 3 x 5 tubular that's vertical on the bell housing!

You should either run a tube or channel from the front all the way back to the rear axle. I would forget about a loader on any of the littler tractors that don't already have the side frame rails like an H or M. Though I would bypass all of those for a newer tractor with more hydraulics and better steering with a loader on it. More like a 56 series or more. By the time you put a loader or decent blade on those Letter series they will be pretty hard to steer without anything in the bucket if you don't have power steering and most didn't. Also to plow snow you want weight and power in either order but you need both to make it work good.

With the chains i have been pushing snow for 40yrs now with 6ft blade on the front and it does snow here in IOWA and i do have two drives to keep open grew up with out live hy and power steer and at 85 still making it just got to know how to use a tractor
