B plow question?

Guys, I purchased a plow for my little B this past winter and I dont know much about these.I have also bought a manual and have thumbed threw it a few times but it is mostly for the hand lift setup. Now the fella i bought this from said it came with a tractor he had bought(and since sold) and that the ol boy he bought it from use to plow with it, the plow wasnt on the tractor and he never did put it on but he said all the parts were there and that he used the hydrolics to lift it. It seems to me there is some parts missing but dont know enough to be sure. There is the cross shaft that bolts by the finals that the tongue attaches to and the rockshaft that goes on behind the seat, and of coarse the plow itself. Now there is no depth adjust part with the strap and holes that lets the plow depth be adjusted. Do you use your hydrolic cylinder to adjust depth when NOT useing the hand lift or as i suspect am I missing parts? Thanks for any help/advise, Sincerely, Hoss

It sounds like you are missing the depth adjustment hand lever that attaches to the right hand foot rest. The hydraulic cylinder(s) are used for plow lift only. The hand lever is used for depth adjustment. The manual-lift plows used two other levers (R&L) for lifting instead of the hydraulics.
