B250 starter

Hi everyone. I want to replace my lever type starter on my 1961 B250 tractor with one that has a built in solenoid. My starter has 11 teeth but I can't seem to find one with 11 teeth. My starter is worn out and I can't seem to find even one the same as mine. Any thoughts would be great appreciated. Thanks

If it is a Delco , it can be rebuilt by me or my friend. Let me know!

In the long run the lever version will still be there when the solenoid model is in the junk. I wish we could go back to the old starter botton on the floor board you had to push to get the gear into the flywheel with and then would in turn spin the starter. Was so simple with little to go wrong.

I agree but the problem is finding one. The prices of them are more than double. I'm looking at about $600 for one.

Check with Arrowhead in Duluth Mn.Not good anymore. Check with White Armature In Wisconsin . # 715 635 3760

I found a new one here in Canada at All Tractor Parts for $504 with tax and shipping. I think I will go with this one.
