B275 injection pump. Options?

Injection pump needs replaced or repaired. Hoping someone can point me in right direction.

Part # 751613-R92

Is it possible to find one? Or do people rebuild them? What are my options? Where do I look? Ballpark price on repair? Thanks in advance to anyone who helps

HOW have you determined it must be repaired? I know you were thinking you had some lift pump issues, if that's all that's wrong, the lift pump can be serviced or replaced as a separate item, without removing the injection pump or dealing with timing it.

In most areas there's a local specialized diesel injection equipment repair shop or one within driving distance that repairs pumps and checks them out and sets them up on a test stand.

GOOGLE Diesel injection equipment, adding you zip code, and make some phone calls to find out who is set up for that brand and if they can still work on that model.

As to cost, it's pretty tough for ANYONE to give an estimate without knowing what's wrong, much less having it apart on the bench, IMHO, but those folks don't work cheap, I don't think I've ever had one gone through for less than $500 or 600, and a major part or two can run it up over a thou$and in a hurry.

If the poster Dieseltech does not post a reply to this I
would recommend you go to your earlier post I have
linked here and contact him by email. Unless this is a
pump that parts are no longer available for you can
ship it to him for a rebuild. Many posters here do this
and say he is very good and has reasonable prices.

Ok here is my problem. My first post here ever a few months back (also my first tractor ever!) was about how under load (tiller) it was bogging down. I thought it was the tiller. People here told me it was a fuel delivery problem. I
emptied & cleaned the tank, changed the fuel bowl assembly & replaced the fuel filter. I also checked & cleaned all the fuel lines. It seemed to help the problem a little bit but lately been having the same issue perhaps more minor than usual but a problem still.

Last week I posted again here about glow plugs / heat resistor indicator & fixed that. The glow plugs were replaced & that now works. While replacing glow plugs I had to remove fuel lines to get new plugs installed & after putting it back together it does not want to start. I hold the switch to heat up the glow plugs. They do heat. I can feel the heat with my finger. The tractor starts to run until I let go of the switch then it quickly stalls.

I again resulted to ether to get it running & after it's running I can tell it's not getting enough fuel. Engaging the PTO or even lifting the hydraulics makes it want to stall. I'm convinced this pump is dying on me. After the glow plug replacement I was not happy with the amount of fuel coming out while bleeding the lines. Perhaps it is the lift pump & I would consider myself lucky if it is. Can that even be replaced? I will get the part number in a bit when I get back up to the house.

Well looking for a new lift pump by original part # is a dead end.

When I search for "international b275 lift pump a bunch of pumps come up but none resemble this old part. I also responded to the old thread asking dieseltech about performing the repair. I'm also wondering if one of these modern lift pumps will fit & work. I looked at my lift pump today & it had one mounting bolt at the top & 2 on the bottom where it bolts to injection pump. Wondering if a new one with the same bolt pattern would fit & work. The part # is 705416R91. Looking in my manual the plunger is not shown in diagram but the spring & plastic rod are shown so I know that's the lift pump not sure why plunger isn't shown. Now wondering if this pump can be gummed up?

Not a 100 percent certain if it applies to your pump but
in general the same diesel injection pump may be used
on multiple brands of engines. So when generally on
these tractors searching by a OEM part number is
good approach for a particular part like that fuel pump
using an OEM number does not give you the best
results. The pump manufacturer has a part number for
it and that would probably be a better way. Aside from
that a better way yet is to have a pump rebuilder that
has all kinds of knowledge help you. I am sorry I think
my instructions were clear to go to the post and use
the email feature to contact Dieseltech. I believe his
email will show up in Classic view and in Modern if you
are logged in.
