Backhoe attachment removable?

I’m looking at a Fordson Major tractor with a backhoe. The seller doesn’t know the model. I am looking to buy a tractor that can move and lift 1500# rectangular bales a few times a month.
Question is, is the backhoe removable, and if it is does it have a 3 point hitch and pto? Can it move the bales without breaking anything?

The backhoe can be removed with some work.

It does not look like it has a 3 point hitch currently, at least all the parts. You need to look to see if the owner has the parts not on the tractor because of the backhoe mounting, if it had a 3 point hitch.

As for the PTO, maybe yes, maybe no. Again, you need to look.

That appears to be a New Major Diesel, and Jim is correct, it appears that the three point has been removed, same for the PTO, you will just have to look. If you are lifting 1500 lb. bales, that backhoe makes an excellent counter weight.
