Baker valve

Just bought a baker valve to put on my '46 A. For the gasket I just get another one that my power lift uses right? Figureing that's what I'll need but want to make sure.

i have not installed one of these but looking and the information from the jd2cylservice site i believe the gaskets are different, see link

I put one on a 60 and just bought 2 new gaskets.Bolt pattern etc is the same.

You have the block off plate right?

Gaskets from Deere will work fine; only diff. back gasket will need mounting bolt holes enlarged 1/8 in.from 1/2 to 5/8; that is only if you have orginal extendsion studs that come with baker valve. if you use longer 1/2 in. bolts no diff. in gasket...
