I own and use a 1965 Balmar Loader here in BC. I have found some references to this machine in the archives along with a suggestion of a group forming for the owners of this machine. I would be more than interested in finding any links or getting replys in regard to this group. I am also in need of the owners manual if available. I have a complete parts catalogue. Most was printed in 1963 with supplements from 1965.

Rick, I also own one of these tractors. Mine is the backhoe loader it apears to be fabricated from the Ford 1821 series industrial tractor. I would be interested in belonging to a group of tractor owners. I think all owners could use this as a reasorce to aid in the repair and maintenance of the tractors. Is there any manuals on the tractor available? our local Ford dealer has never heard of them. I would be happy to talk to others that own these units. Rick Mott 308-375-4260

I'm about to purchase an old Balmar also. Did anyone upload manuals online? We should really start a group so we can get the little bit of information that's out there in one place.

I have one too. I know this is an old topic, but there's not much on these machines out there. Mine is a 1965 diesel backhoe loader with SOS transmission.
